Pepper Mill and Salt Cellar Care Instructions
With the right seasoning you can turn a good dish into a great one, and a good grinder and salt cellar will make this process quick and simple.
Time to hit your meal with some Fresh-Cracked Pepp!
Our pepper mill uses a shaftless grinding mechanism for easy-to-fill operation. It can be adjusted for coarseness via the dial on its base. It rests on top of a marble basin used for storing salt.
Filling: Lift off the cap on the top of the mill. Pour in peppercorns and then fix the cap back on, ensuring its rubber grommet fits correctly. The pepper mill is only intended for use with peppercorns. Do not put salt flakes, coffee, or other items in the grinder.
Adjusting: For a fine pepper grind, turn the grey dial underneath the mill clockwise to tighten the tension. Take care not to over-tighten. For a coarser grind, loosen the dial by turning it counterclockwise.
Grinding: Turn the top portion of the mill clockwise. The pepper mill only grinds when turned in the forward direction β there is no use in turning it back and forth.
Cleaning: If it gets messy, you can wipe off the pepper mill with a dampened cloth. Do not immerse the pepper mill in water β there is no need to wash the inside of the mill.
